lucky
i won an adorable headband on "A Little Sussy". this is my second giveaway that i have won. i am never that lucky.
i might have to start trying to win more. i just remembered i also won over at secondsister saviloquay. crazy.
i am lucky in the kid department (although my middle child is testing us pretty good). here are some recent shots i took.
i think you'll agree they are priceless in so many ways. yes vance has his summer "hawk" again.

adoption

This breaks my heart. All these children who need homes, not infants but kids who can express how much they want a mom and dad.
Adoption has been HUGE in our family recently, both in giving and receiving.

*i did make their shirts, and their cakes (ok Krispy kreme made one). too lazy to post the link but it was on tangled and true using freezer paper. tutorials on the web. avery's was the last one, turned out the best.

Vance is 3
Had a very low-key Birthday Party at good ole PPP. Vance loves playing the games there.
He insisted on a Thomas the Train cake. Don't judge please. It was a slightly painful experience. Just glad he was happy. I know the adults appreciated the blue mouths. =) SO happy that we could have some family from each side there to celebrate. He got some pretty cool gifts too. he insisted on the batman hat from party city. I think it makes his ears look smaller. =)
